After Ellen, Live with Kelly & Ryan and The Kelly Clarkson Show – our next celebrity cakesmash was dedicated to James Corden and Mariah Carey! One of my favorite things to watch are episodes of the carpool karaoke, so naturally, they had to be next! It was sooo much fun planning this cakesmash. I knew I had to have a little car and Amazon came to the rescue. That is also where I got the backdrop. I thought it would make for a fun look if they drive around in New York City. I wrapped some fake presents and bought some real ones, who knew you could buy fake wrapped presents? LOL. I clearly missed out on that genius idea! 🙂 I kept watching the video over and over again, in case you don’t know what I am referring too, here it is:
I wanted them to match up as much as I could. I think I pretty much nailed it. hahahaha. Seriously though, aren’t these two kiddos just the cutest? They had a blast and destroyed the setup. Oh boy did they destroy the car! There was cake everywhere! I mean I don’t know what I was expecting but I didn’t expect that much of a mess. So worth it though, am I right? I mean this came out so cute! Also, I just saw that “All I want for Christmas is you” just went number one on Billboard Top 100! That is amazing. Congrats Mariah!!! It is not really the holidays without that song though, right? Such a staple and that is also a reason why we chose it for our cakesmash. Puts you in an immediate great mood and everyone can sing along. We had such a good time, are you ready to see some of the cuteness? Here we go!
