It is always a sad day when the cakesmash concludes the “Grow with Me” collection. BUT I have photographed Mason as a newborn and as a sitter so it was only a matter of time until I would see him again for his cakesmash. And even though that was our last photography session on the books, I have high hopes that I will see him again. It feels like yesterday when his sister had her donut cakesmash, yet some time has passed since then. He had some big shoes to fill but I LOVED the theme mom picked out and I love how it all came together!!! He wasn’t too interested in the cake, rather he would play with the balls and roll them off set. Then he tried to escape probably 100 billion times, but at least his cake got smashed in the process. Haha. I absolutely love making those huge balloon garlands, and though my fingers will hurt for days, it is so worth it. I hope you had a very special birthday celebration little friend. Thank you for an amazing year of memories!

Cakesmash photography sessions are such a fun way to capture your little one turning one! They take a lot of planning, so ideally we would like about 6 weeks notice to set them up. If you already have a theme in mind, even better, I will work with you to have your vision come alive. I have tons of different backdrops that you can choose from to customize your session. We will talk about colors, themes, and most importantly cake! This will be a fun shoot to capture the personality of your little one at this special age, they only turn 1 once, right?
To get excited and start getting some ideas, feel free to browse some older cakesmash session on the blog. This way you can get an idea of what to expect before booking your very own cakesmash photography session.
